In the Enterprise Product Growth team, the Sales Specialist is responsible for selling solutions in one of the following specific domains: Bare Metal.

The Sales Specialist drives the adoption of existing and new products, plays a pivotal role at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success. The main mission is to accelerate revenue growth by enabling the broader sales organization, supporting complex deals, and acting as a feedback conduit to the product team for continuous improvement and innovation.

Your main responsabilities

1. Being able to sell OVHcloud Private Cloud Bare Metal to all our Enterprise customers.
2. Identify, qualify, and pursue high-potential opportunities for new/important products within existing accounts and new prospects.
3. Being able to handle the complete sales cycle from the first discovery meetings to the closing with the customer.
4. Work in very close cooperation with the account team, the partner account team and the pre-sales team or solutions architect if needed.
5. Manage and maintain a robust and accurate pipeline and forecast.
6. Gather and synthesize customer feedback, objections, and use casesto refine messaging and improve product-market fit.
7. Serve as the "voice of the customer" to the product organization (CPTO), relaying actionable feedback, feature requests, and market insights.
8. Participate in product roadmap discussions, helping to prioritize enhancements and influence development based on real-world customer needs.
9. Share qualitative insights to help product teams validate and iterate on new features.
10. Ensure alignment between sales goals and product capabilities, setting realistic expectations with customers and internal stakeholders.
11. Organize Sales campaigns for up & cross-sell on existing customers base but also on prospects base.
12. Help product teams understand the competitive landscape and evolving customer requirements, contributing to a customer-centric innovation process.
13. Work closely with our Tech partners, by building sales development action plan (prospects & customers to target, common event and animation), develop and follow common pipeline.

Your future impact

In 6 months, you will have achieved

14. Perfect knowledge of our Bare Metal solutions and act as subject-matter expert
15. Identify, qualify, and pursue high-potential opportunities on prospects (on an incoming lead)
16. Support account management teams on “your” products. Lead or support customer engagements, including discovery calls, needs assessments, product demonstrations, and solution validation for new offerings.
17. Identification of all the key stakeholders (Sales, Product Manager, Product Marketing…) on “your” Bare Metal product.
18. Be able to enable the Sales broader sales organization, supporting complex deals, and acting as a feedback conduit to the product team for continuous improvement and innovation

In 1 year, you will have mastered

19. Create customer trust, able to build a complete offer for the customer
20. Partner with account teams to define target segments, create go-to-market strategies, and execute focused sales campaigns.
21. Define and follow the success’s KPI and OKR on “your” product (in line with budget)
22. Track pipeline, forecast sales, and ensure targets for your product line are met or exceeded.
23. Know the market and ecosystem (go to market & segmentation) + know the OVHcloud’s ecosystem including Partner Program

Profile

24. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
25. Engineer profile with strong technical background
26. Deep technical and commercial understanding of cloud products (especially OVHcloud Bare Metal Servers)
27. Deep and extensive knowledge of the solution market positioning, the competitors, and the entire eco-system
28. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
29. Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and articulate value propositions
30. Proven track record in sales, especially with new or complex solutions
31. Team working with all parties involved on a specific deal
32. Able to work in a multi-cultural and fast paced environment
33. Fluent in French & English
