Our award‑winning AI platform continuously monitors and diagnoses solar and battery assets to detect hidden faults, predict failures, and extend asset life by 5–10 years.We work with leading players such as GALP, Acciona, Mitsui Fudosan, TATA… 30+ to maximize asset performance and returns — delivering over 6× ROI through predictive maintenance and intelligent portfolio management. Now, we are expanding globally and looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help us bring SmartHelio’s intelligence to more solar portfolios around the world. Your Mission As our Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of scaling SmartHelio’s presence across key markets. You’ll identify and close strategic opportunities with solar developers, IPPs, asset managers, and O&M companies, driving adoption of our AI‑powered platform for predictive maintenance and portfolio optimization. You’ll work closely with our CEO and technical teams to convert conversations into long‑term partnerships and help shape the future of digital asset management in clean energy. Key Responsibilities 🎯 Drive Sales Growth: Identify, qualify, and close B2B deals with solar developers, IPPs, asset managers, and O&M companies in target regions. 🌍 Market Development: Map and prioritize markets with high growth potential; develop localized go‑to‑market approaches. 💡 Client Engagement: Present SmartHelio’s platform to technical and financial decision‑makers, demonstrating its ROI and operational impact. 🤝 Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with ecosystem players (OEMs, EPCs, data platforms, asset managers) to expand SmartHelio’s reach. 📈 Pipeline Management: Maintain CRM hygiene, track KPIs, and deliver regular reports on lead progress, deals, and revenue targets. 📢 Brand Representation: Represent SmartHelio at industry events, webinars, and conferences to build visibility and trust. 🔄 Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer — collect insights from clients to inform product development and marketing. 👥 Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, demos, and value propositions. What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in solar, renewable energy, or energy SaaS (must). Proven ability to close B2B deals in international environments (Europe, US, India, Africa, or Japan is a plus). Strong understanding of solar asset management, O&M workflows, or digital energy platforms. Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex technology for non‑technical stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset: self‑starter, independent, and driven by impact. Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business teams in a fast‑paced startup environment. Fluent in English (required); French, Spanish, German is a strong plus. Willingness to travel for client meetings or events.
