We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position as "Software Developer / Architect for embedded real time Software" (m/w/d).
Your tasks:
1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
2. Implement AI and deep learning algorithms to improve system functionality, such as sensor data processing
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
4. Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
5. Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements
Your profile:
6. Completed studies in the field of Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification
7. Over 4 years of professional experience in the fields of IT / information systems and aerospace
8. Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required
9. Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development
10. Fluent in English
11. Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks) is needed
12. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques is required
