Your tasks
For our customer in Manching we are looking for an engineer for the mechanical design of system installations.
Job description
9. Construction and design: Development and construction of system installations, brackets and mechanical components, taking into account installation space, mountability and functionality.
10. Preparation of documents: Preparation of production and installation documents including the necessary parts lists and entering the data into the IT systems.
11. Standards review: Identification and application of relevant regulations and standards for mechanical design in aviation.
12. Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close coordination with related departments such as systems engineering, analysis, production and assembly to ensure an optimal design.
13. Verification and validation: Active support in the verification of designs through tests and reviews as well as participation in the continuous improvement of design processes.
Your profile
14. Qualifications: Degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
15. Professional experience: At least 3 years of sound experience in mechanical design, ideally in the installation of equipment components.
16. CAD skills: Detailed specialist knowledge of Catia V5 and adept with PDMLink and VPM.
17. Specialist knowledge: Experience of supervising parts manufacture and installations and working with complex sets of drawings to research build conditions.
18. Language skills: Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
19. Team spirit: Strong ability to work in a team and a structured, independent way of working.
