Learn more at .We are seeking a strong technology leader to be based locally in the DACH region, ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes specific to this market. This role will oversee multiple software engineering and infrastructure teams and requires a broad, interdisciplinary background to effectively lead across diverse technical domains.This role is hybrid (3 days in the office).
Requirements:
1. Overall E2E ownership for the Technology Function for DACH
2. Working in partnership with the project leads and stakeholders, define, track and manage these projects to ensure delivery to budget and committed timelines
3. Develop the strategy and process for modernizing the markets, including product, resourcing and back office.
4. Develop the vendor and location strategies, looking to utilize Technology centers in addition to the local market resources
5. Ensuring SLAs, metrics and continuous improvement measures are in place and can be demonstrated.
6. Manage the markets Tech budget, understanding, challenging and proactively managing their cost and time position to mitigate potential delays and identify efficiencies
7. Identify any dependencies, risks and issues and ensure mitigation plans in place
8. creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports to highlight progress, call our risks and ensure alignment across Technology.
9. Work closely with regional representatives from multiple global teams to ensure an effective cross-functional approach
10. Act as pivotal connection between the Technology delivery team and the commercial business to ensure requirements and timelines are understood and aligned
11. Coach, develop and challenge project teams to a successful implementation
12. Effectively communicate timely and relevant updates to multiple stakeholder groups
Key attributes:
13. Proven track record of leading a major Technology program as a senior project manager or director
14. Strong project management and organizational skills with experience of managing complex projects and performance management of suppliers
15. Strong Technology background – knowledge of agile delivery practices, large scale data platforms (GCP,AWS) ,Java, .Net, Data Base technologies
16. Ability to define and implement KPI’s around quality, efficiency and delivery for large distributed scrum teams.
17. Exceptional multi-tasker, strategic and tactical thinker
18. Ability to prioritize and adapt while maintaining the highest attention to detail
19. Relationship management, able to build and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues
20. Understanding of relevant data legislation and privacy compliance across Europe
Skills:
21. 10+ years of experience of Leadership experience relating to critical Domains or Programmes
22. Extensive project management skills with a focus on business-centric projects
23. Ability to develop governance methodologies as an integral part of successful programme execution,
24. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of leaders, managers, and subject matter experts.
25. Able to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
26. Demonstrable skills in presenting information effectively and delivering effective reporting mechanisms
27. Able to produce high quality, effective and thorough documentation
28. Able to manage and prioritise competing requirements
29. Excellent organizational, decision making and analytical skills
30. Strong technical aptitude of Microsoft Office, Atlassian tools, Java and / or .Net.
31. Familiar with SW development industry standards.
32. Fluent/native in German & English
33. Experienced to manage cross border teams
