To support our accounting team at our headquarters in Berlin, we are looking for you - an ambitious Senior Group Accountant in the general ledger team.(m/f/d).

YOUR JOB
You will play a central role in our finance team and actively contribute to the quality of our financial reporting:
1. Consolidated financial statements according to IFRS: You play a key role in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements at the group level and ensure their quality and timeliness.
2. General ledger accounting & consolidation: You are responsible for intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliation and ensure smooth group accounting.
3. Interface & Coordination: As a link between HQ and the local finance teams in other European countries, you manage and control the monthly reporting of foreign companies.
4. Individual company financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB): You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements at the individual company level.
5. Process optimization: You continuously identify potential improvements in accounting-related processes and document them in a structured manner.
6. Contact person for external partners: You are the first point of contact for tax advisors and auditors and maintain a professional, solution-oriented collaboration.
7. Deputy Team Leader: You relieve the team leader of operational tasks and represent them in their absence.
8. Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with controlling and operational units and actively contribute your expertise to cross-functional projects.
YOUR PROFILE
You bring solid expertise, a structured way of working and a genuine passion for Finance & Accounting:
9. Education & Qualification: Completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d), training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or a degree with a focus on accounting, taxes or auditing.
