Your tasks
1. Interdisciplinary statistical consulting: Providing tailored mathematical solutions and strategic advice to global functional teams (R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory) throughout the entire product lifecycle.
2. Algorithmics & Mathematical Modeling: Independent development of robust models for the precise extraction of physiological parameters from complex chemical-physical time series (Near Patient Care).
3. Automation & System Integration: Prototypical implementation of processes into automated R&D tools and their integration into validated lot-release systems for quality assurance, taking into account sustainable data concepts.
4. Evidence-based decision-making: Responsibility for statistical design of experiments (DoE) and development of data-driven models to safeguard critical milestones in product development.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Development of statistical rationales for regulatory authorities and implementation of biometric methods in official product documentation in accordance with international guidelines.

6. Academic qualification: Successfully completed studies in mathematics, physics or a comparable field, supplemented by a doctorate or many years of relevant professional experience.
7. Industry & methodological expertise: Sound experience in (medical technology) development as well as in-depth knowledge of mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, optimization and modern classification methods.
8. Statistical Consulting & DoE: Excellent statistical knowledge (descriptive to inductive) with proven experience in advising interdisciplinary departments, especially in experimental design (DoE) and result interpretation.
9. Tech Stack & Data Engineering: Proficient use of R and/or Python as well as Git; ideally experience with JMP and sound know-how in efficient data storage, preparation and visualization.
