Click to learn more > www.kornit.com We are currently looking for a skilled and customer-focused Remote Service Engineer based in Dusseldorf, Germany. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Scope & Responsibilities Provide professional first-level technical support to customers experiencing issues with Kornit Digital printers and application software via phone and remote tools (e.g., remote control, log file retrieval, settings adjustment). Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to Kornit Digital printing systems and associated software. Accurately document all support cases using Kornit’s systems and tools (currently Salesforce.com service modules), including technical reports and statistics. Maintain continuous and professional communication within the team and with other departments. Actively use and optimise processes and documentation in your area of responsibility. Create and share solution-based documentation for inclusion in the Known Error Database. Reporting and creating technical documentation and statistics. Apply upgrades and product modifications as defined by the product line. Participate in support hotline coverage, including support during extended service hours according to a defined schedule. Escalate cases appropriately and ensure consistent follow-up and resolution. Promote Kornit’s service offerings such as service contracts, training programs, and maintenance services to customers. Perform additional tasks related to showroom systems and other technical responsibilities as required. Region: Germany Required skills and capabilities Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role servicing electro-mechanical devices. Willingness and flexibility to travel for on-site service visits (up to 20%). Familiarity with digital printing technologies such as industrial inkjet, RIP/colour management, textile printing is a strong advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Required language skills: fluent in English with at least intermediate German. Any of these additional languages would be an advantage (Italian, Polish, Russian, Czech, French or Spanish).
