House Manager - Travelling
Locations : Munich / Kitzbühel / Saint-Tropez
Working days : 5 (including weekends)
Salary : €110,000-€130,000 – Gross DOE
A highly experienced, proactive, and independent Live-out House Manager is required to oversee and coordinate four private residences for a UHNW family. The main residence is in Munich, with additional properties in Austria and the South of France. The role requires frequent travel, hands-on leadership, and the ability to maintain exceptional standards across all homes.
Essential Requirements :
- Proven professional experience managing multiple UHNW private residences
- Willingness to travel extensively and work weekends and public holidays
- Full driving licence and valid EU passport
- Strong IT skills
- Fluent English preferred; French & German language skills advantageous
- Strictly non-smoker; demonstrates discretion, reliability, and responsibility
- Previous yacht or luxury hospitality experience beneficial
- Extensive experience as a House Manager within luxury, VIP, or UHNW multi-residence environments
- Strong leadership and staff management background
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Detailed understanding of caring for high-end materials (marble, slate, etc)
- Holds a valid EU passport and full driving licence
- Longevity within a previous role
Key Responsibilities:
- Munich, Germany (4,500 sqm) : Management of 2 Housekeepers, 1 Cleaning staff member, 1 Facility Manager/Gardener
- Kitzbühel, Austria (1,500 sqm) : Management of 1 Housekeeper and 1 Cleaning staff member
- Saint-Tropez, France (1,500 sqm) : Management of 1–2 Housekeepers, 1 Cleaning staff member, Facility Manager/Gardener
Operational Management
- Complete coordination and supervision of staff across all residences
- Consistent implementation of a 5-star luxury household standard
- Budgeting, accounting, and cost control
- Recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling
- Regular on-site inspections of all properties
- Oversight and coordination of contractors, craftsmen, and external service providers
