Your tasks
They accompany development projects from the initial sketch to final approval. Their focus is on combining lightweight construction with maximum occupant safety, especially considering complex load cases such as the Head Injury Criterion (HIC) .
9. Project Management & Leadership: Responsibility for development projects in the field of aircraft seats with a focus on structural integrity and passenger safety.
10. Schedule and budget control: Ensuring the achievement of economic goals and strict adherence to project timelines.
11. Simulation & Modeling: Development and enhancement of complex finite element (FE) models in LS-DYNA for static and highly dynamic simulations.
12. Analysis & Documentation: Evaluation of the simulation results as well as their complete documentation and presentation to internal project teams.
13. Design optimization: Development and implementation of measures to reduce weight and to meet applicable aviation certifications (e.g. EASA/FAA).
Your profile
Software expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of ANSA and LS-DYNA .
Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of finite element methods (FEM) and classical engineering mechanics.
Industry experience: You have a solid foundation in the design and development of aerospace components.
Tool stack (ideal case): Experience with LS-PrePost and META is a big plus.
Language skills: As we operate in an international environment, you have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
Soft skills: They impress with exceptional analytical thinking and a strong team orientation.
