We are on the lookout for a Senior Visual Designer, Design System - (Logistics, Service) to make an impact within our global ecosystem. Join us on our journey to shape the future of local delivery!
Your focus will be on developing and evolving the design system foundations, components, and visual language that power these critical support experiences across our global platforms. This includes the unique challenge of building and integrating a design system solution that connects nine different brands’ design systems, creating a seamless and compelling experience at scale. The solutions you design will need to work globally—supporting more than 70 countries and ensuring consistent, accessible, and delightful interactions for millions of users worldwide.
You’ll be joining our Logistics Service Product Line design team as part of the Self Service Tribe. This team is responsible for building and scaling the Help Center and Customer, Rider, and Vendor help center experiences that help our users solve their problems quickly and easily.
1. Promote, evolve, and maintain our global design system: Advocate for the system internally, run workshops, refine and expand components, patterns, micro-interactions, and visual language to support diverse product teams.
2. Lead visual design efforts: Drive the creation of visually stunning, consistent, and accessible UI components that work across multiple platforms and markets.
3. Define and document guidelines: Create clear, thorough, and user-friendly design documentation in Figma to ensure smooth adoption and implementation.
4. Drive visual and interaction quality: Conduct design reviews, audits, and refinements to maintain a high standard of visual and interaction design across all products, while mentoring and supporting other designers on best practices.
5. Collaborate across disciplines and support strategic initiatives: Work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure feasibility, consistency, and alignment with user needs and business goals, and contribute to design system roadmaps and planning.
6. Balance consistency and flexibility while championing user-centered design: Ensure the system meets the needs of our diverse brands while maintaining a cohesive global experience, conducting and leveraging user research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design system decisions.
Qualifications
7. 5+ years of experience as a UI or Product Designer with a strong focus on design systems and visual design.
8. Deep expertise in visual design, UI patterns, typography, color, spacing, and motion/micro-interactions.
9. Solid experience creating and maintaining design systems in Figma (or equivalent tools).
10. Track record of delivering well-designed, polished, scalable, and accessible components across web and mobile.
11. Understanding of design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards (, WCAG).
12. Ability to balance visual craft with practical engineering feasibility.
13. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
14. Strong communication skills—able to clearly explain ideas, advocate for design decisions, and provide constructive feedback.
15. User-centric mindset with experience conducting or applying user research and usability testing insights.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
17. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or familiarity with design system implementation.
18. Experience working across multiple brands, regions, or languages.
19. Knowledge of design system tooling (Storybook, Zeroheight, etc.).
20. Experience mentoring junior designers.
21. Familiarity with accessibility auditing tools and processes.
