We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Luxembourg. As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for managing cash flow and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
About the Role
* Collect and validate gross fund fee reports from fund administrators to ensure completeness and accurate accounting.
* Maintain financial data related to clients, products, and payment terms to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Calculate and reconcile rebates by comparing client invoices with internal records to prevent discrepancies.
* Perform monthly reconciliations of accrued vs. paid rebates at a detailed client level to maintain transparency.
* Handle internal and external queries related to revenue and rebates to provide timely assistance.
* Produce operational statistics to support reporting and decision-making, enabling data-driven insights.
* Evaluate procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and escalate issues when necessary to maintain high standards.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Product Development, and Client Services to achieve common goals.
* Provide analytical support for pricing strategies and contract negotiations to drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Data Science to equip you with a solid foundation in financial principles.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar or relevant role to demonstrate your expertise and adaptability.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets.
* Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
* Ability to improve and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
