The Role
As Senior Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business scales sustainably-balancing top-line ambition with bottom-line control. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead all aspects of financial control, reporting, and analysis-ensuring clarity, compliance, and commercial insight.
You'll act as a financial partner to teams across the business, from Commercial to Operations, helping ensure decisions are grounded in data and aligned with long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
* Own financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic goals
* Develop controls, processes, and reporting frameworks to support scale
* Act as a finance business partner to leadership and department heads
* Support fundraising, investor reporting, and board-level financial insight
* Champion automation, digital tools, and continuous improvement in finance workflows
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in senior finance roles-ideally in scale-ups, PE-backed businesses, or dynamic, fast-growth environments
* Deep expertise in financial control, forecasting, and strategic finance
* Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
* Fluency in English and German is essential
* Based in or open to relocating to Leipzig (hybrid setup with regular in-office presence)
