Your tasks
The role of the Supply Quality Coordinator is to support the Supply Quality organization by coordinating inspections, planning supplier audits, maintaining and updating the supplier database and collecting data for quality metrics as part of the project business supply chain. Key interfaces are the local and global Supplier Quality Management team, the Project Procurement Manager, Project Management and the Engineering department.
9. Your reviews help to drive and continuously improve the delivery quality related KPIs in projects.
10. You coordinate inspections with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
11. You will support the maintenance and improvement of the supplier quality management system and implement and track measures and activities to ensure the required quality of delivered components and services.
12. You will contribute to the improvement of supplier quality in projects by implementing SQM requirements such as preventive actions and supplier qualification.
13. You will support supplier qualification, product/process qualification and technical supplier development in order to provide a global, demand-covering, quality-assured and cost-effective supply base for the components of specific goods.
Your profile
14. Successfully completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in engineering/technology
15. Several years of relevant professional experience in quality management, engineering or manufacturing
16. Technical expertise in mechanical or electrical products, the associated production processes and working with product-specific standards and regulations
17. Experience in project management (preferably in large-scale plant construction)
18. Sound knowledge in the application of quality methods such as 5-Why analysis, FMEA, 8D, RCA
19. Confident handling of MS Office applications
20. Very good team and communication skills
21. Business fluent in written and spoken English and German.
