Engineering Program Manager (m/f/d)
Your ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Engineering Program Manager to drive the execution and delivery of complex technical product initiatives across engineering, product management, and supply chain operations, in an outsourced supply chain context.In this role you will be the point of contact between different teams, such as product engineering, design (R&D), Contract Manufactures and Supply Chain Operations, ensuring effective communication and coordination. You are responsible for setting project timelines, managing resources, tracking progress, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle. You are playing a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives.This role does not include people management or product ownership but plays a critical enabling role for both.Your ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & DeliveryPlan, execute, and close cross-functional technical and product-related projectsDefine project scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success criteriaTrack progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and deviationsEnsure delivery within agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget constraintsCross-Functional Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate teams across Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, IT, and external supply chain networkServe as the central point of contact for project communication and reportingFacilitate alignment, escalation, and decision-making across stakeholdersMonitor delivery status during product issues (go to person) and make or drive necessary decisionsGovernance, Process & QualityApply and support standardized project and lifecycle governanceEnsure consistent execution, documentation, and compliance across productsSupport audits, reviews, and quality checkpointsRisk, Change & Compliance ManagementIdentify and mitigate technical, schedule, and operational risksManage change requests and assess impact on scope, timeline, and qualitySupport regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirementsData-Driven Steering & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and track project KPIs and dashboardsEnable transparent, fact-based decision-makingDrive continuous improvement through structured process optimization
Your QualificationsProfessional SkillsProven experience in project management within technical or engineering environmentsStrong capabilities in project planning, scheduling, and dependency managementSolid experience in risk, change, and stakeholder managementAbility to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives without formal authorityExperience working in outsourced manufacturing environments, collaborating effectively with external partnersExpertise in supply chain operationsTechnical & Methodological SkillsGood understanding of technical product lifecycles and engineering processesExperience with agile and hybrid project management methodologiesData-driven mindset with experience using KPIs and dashboardsBackground in process optimization and continuous improvementPersonal CompetenciesStructured, analytical, and solution-oriented working styleStrong communication and coordination skillsHigh level of ownership, reliability, and quality orientationAbility to navigate complexity and ambiguity in dynamic environments
