Job Description
As Director of Engineering, ERP, you are accountable for shaping and operating a robust, scalable ERP landscape that serves as a core platform across Finance, Operations, and our Financial Product. You ensure the system reliably supports day-to-day business operations while continuously evolving to meet the needs of a fast-growing and increasingly complex organization.
1. Define and continuously evolve a clear target picture for the ERP landscape in close collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Commercial stakeholders.
2. Own the technical integrity of the ERP system, including architecture, integrations, and overall system design.
3. Ensure the ERP system serves as a reliable foundation for operational processes, financial flows, and reporting.
4. Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and ensure their feasibility within the ERP architecture.
5. Own and drive the resolution of concrete system and process issues, ensuring continuous improvement of existing structures.
6. Act as the technical representative for ERP within the organization, bridging business and engineering with deep domain expertise.
7. Establish and evolve effective structures and best practices, while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
8. Proven experience working deeply within ERP systems, with the ability to understand and steer system behavior in depth.
9. Strong technical background as a Functional Consultant, ERP Developer or Solution Architect.
10. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O) is highly valuable, as it is central to our ERP landscape. Experience with Dynamics AX / AX2012 or comparable ERP systems is also considered relevant.
11. Hands-on experience designing ERP system architecture and making sound technical decisions at system level.
12. Strong understanding of integration architecture and common integration patterns within complex system landscapes.
13. Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust system solutions.
14. Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem solving and system improvement.
15. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple business units and senior stakeholders.
16. Long-term mindset with the motivation to build and evolve a critical system over time.
