Assistant Professor (t.t.) or Full Professor of Applied Econometrics
The successful candidate will represent the field of Applied Econometrics in both research and teaching across its full breadth. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a clearly identifiable research profile with international visibility, particularly in modern empirical-quantitative methods and their application to economic issues.
They should demonstrate the potential to successfully pass an interim or final evaluation associated with a junior professorship.
Applicants for a Full Professorship should possess broad expertise, evidenced by relevant research achievements, and be capable of representing this expertise in both research and teaching. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of research, as evidenced by publications in international, peer-reviewed journals. He or she has a strong research agenda and demonstrates a keen interest in interdisciplinary research and teaching. Additionally, the appointee is expected to actively develop an international network and pursue external research funding.
Zeppelin University is committed to internationally visible and sustainable research and has established research clusters in arts production and cultural policy in transformation, computational social science, and governance of global cooperation networks. We expect the candidate to possess excellent teaching skills and a strong dedication to instruction, including the ability to conduct project-based courses in small group settings. The successful applicant should also be willing and able to teach courses in English and contribute to university self-government.
The appointment requirements pursuant to § 47 of the Higher Education Act of the State of Baden-Württemberg (Landeshochschulgesetz) apply.
