Trade Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

Hollerich, Luxembourg

Would you like to be part of an international team and to contribute to our international expansion?

We are a 100% independent, family-owned Luxembourg company with over 175 years' experience in the tobacco industry and brands expertise (FMC, FCT, accessories, vaping and new generation tobacco products).

We're looking for a hands-on, commercially savvy Trade Marketing Manager to help us win at shelf and drive brand visibility across key retail channels. If you have solid FMCG experience, know how to connect marketing with sales, and are comfortable navigating a regulated industry like tobacco, this role could be for you.

What you'll do:

1. Build and roll out trade marketing strategies for petrol stations, convenience, and independent retailers.
2. Lead go-to-market plans for new product launches (including NGPs like nicotine pouches and e-cigarettes) ensuring compliance with tobacco regulations.
3. Work closely with Sales and Key Account teams to design tailored promotions, planograms, and in-store campaigns.
4. Drive shopper engagement through smart visibility, seasonal activations, and loyalty programs.
5. Develop merchandising assets, toolkits for brand ambassadors, and POS materials that reflect commercial priorities and shopper insights.
6. Use data to track campaign performance, spot trends, and guide what we do next.
7. Keep an eye on the competition and help us stay one step ahead.
8. Track and analyze retail performance, shopper behavior, and campaign effectiveness to optimize future planning and spend efficiency.
9. Maintain competitive intelligence across conventional and NGP categories, leveraging insights to shape proactive trade responses.
10. Manage and optimize the trade marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI and efficient deployment of resources.

What you'll need:

12. University degree in Sales or Marketing
13. At least 3 years of experience in FMCG trade marketing
14. Strong command of MS Office, SAP, and trade marketing tools. Nielsen /IRI is asset.
15. Great understanding of shopper behaviour and what drives sell-through at point of sale.
16. A proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership and makes things happen.
17. Experience in or knowledge of the tobacco or other regulated industries is a big plus.
