I am partnering with an established, growth stage medical technology company to appoint a Senior Software Engineering Manager for a pivotal leadership role within their medical imaging division. The organization develops advanced imaging systems used in clinical and surgical environments and operates within a highly regulated, quality driven setting.
This is a senior, hands on leadership position with clear influence over software architecture, team performance, and delivery of safety critical imaging solutions. You will operate at the intersection of Software, Systems, Quality, Regulatory, and Product, ensuring robust, compliant, and scalable software across the full product lifecycle.
The Role at a Glance:
* Lead and develop high performing software engineering teams
* Own technical strategy and execution for medical imaging software platforms
* Drive software architecture, design controls, and development processes
* Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and applicable FDA or EU MDR expectations
* Partner closely with Product, Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory stakeholders
* Oversee development from early concept through verification, validation, and release
What They’re Looking For:
* Background within regulated medical device or healthcare software environments
* Ideally deep understanding of complex software systems, ideally within medical imaging
* Proven ability to lead teams through regulated development and audits
