Benchmark a prototype smart sensing system against high-precision external reference measurements Design and execute robot accuracy experiments inspired by industrial robot performance standards Analyze positioning accuracy, repeatability, trajectory-following error, and dynamic behavior Develop Python-based tools for data acquisition, synchronization, visualization, and statistical evaluation Support the development of inverse kinematics, trajectory generation, and robot calibration routines Compare commanded, internally estimated, and externally measured robot positions Prepare clear scientific plots, reports, and presentations to communicate experimental results Your profile You are enrolled in a master's degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering, automation, or a related field Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++, with demonstrable hands-on project experience Good understanding of robot kinematics, coordinate transformations, and 3D geometry Basic knowledge of control engineering, including PID control and motion-profile generation Practical hands-on experience with experimental setups, sensors, actuators, or robotic systems Sounds exciting?
