You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Germany as Schuldschein Origination and Loan Syndication Analyst.
This VIE position combines a Distribution support role and a Private placement Origination support role.
As part of one of the banks distribution platforms in Continental Europe, the successful candidate will support the structuring, syndication, and placement of a wide range of debt transactions including Schuldschein, Corporate Acquisition Finance, Rail Finance, Project Finance, and ECA-covered financing.
This role offers strong exposure to the EMEA loan market, institutional investors, and complex cross-border financings. It combines strategic execution responsibilities with direct interaction across Crédit Agricole CIBs origination, credit, and trading teams globally.
Your concrete missions will be the following:
Distribution Support:
1. Support in the preparation of DAR syndication opinions (including pricing and structuring) with focus on transactions with a nexus to German-speaking countries
2. Comparable transaction tables by relevant sector and liquidity analysis
3. Completion of closing memos in a timely manner
4. Assist with various Powerpoint presentations in connection with pitches and market updates
5. Assist with Excel spreadsheets reports and databases, including the use of the internal AI tool
6. Use Debtdomain database when inviting banks into a transaction or for reporting/search purposes
7. Update comparable files
8. Help team in preparing bank meetings & complete call reports
9. Assist in conducting market research and present market update
10. Support coordinating the development and monitoring of the German investor base, especially with a focus on non-bank investors, and exploring new opportunities
11. Coordination with FIG, DCM and GMD in Germany as well
Sales & Investor Interaction:
12. Elaborate marketing and market monitoring documents for senior Originator: macroeconomic analysis, bond market and private placement monitoring, ad-hoc client meeting presentations, market analyses, newsletters, including the use of the internal AI tool
13. Update and monitor databases, league tables, and market references
14. Conduct market intelligence and monitor Private Placement investors' investment criteria
15. Support Senior originator in execution of transactions in Schuldschein or USPP formats for German-speaking countries
16. The candidate must demonstrate genuine autonomy and strong teamwork abilities (frequent collaboration with syndication teams, distribution teams, and other DCM team members in Europe and the United States)
To be eligible for a VIE:
- Be less than 28 years old
- Be graduated of Master Degree
- Be EU citizen (except German)
