The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, definition and applications engineering of next-generation SiC Technology and molded power modules for automotive traction inverters. Other responsibilities include : Motivating and mentoring junior members of the team Development of power loss modelling software for wide band gap semiconductors Driving thermal measurements, thermal efficiency and EMI Qualifications & Requirements To be considered for this Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Power Modules you will need a degree in electrical and electronics engineering or a related discipline and a proven background in the following : Broad knowledge of semiconductor applications Expert Knowledge in SiC-MOSFETs Good understanding of converter topologies Circuit troubleshooting.
