Your new job includes
As a Corporate Accounting Expert (m/f/d) you will play a central role in our global finance structure.
In particular, you will
* independently prepare annual financial statements for the companies to be supported and be the contact person for the auditors as part of the annual audit
* carry out month-end closing activities including accrual postings in close cooperation with operational accounting and controlling
* support our subsidiaries with issues in SAP, in particular with closing processes, and provide technical advice on accounting issues
* monitor innovations and changes to accounting regulations and their impact on our closing processes
* contribute to the further development of commercial systems and processes, in particular as part of the migration to SAP S/4HANA
* creating posting logics for new business transactions and reviewing existing ones as well as providing support in projects (accounting effects)
Preferred Profile
* A successfully completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting or a comparable qualification
* First professional experience in accounting, ideally in auditing or internationally active companies
* Sound knowledge of accounting and tax law (HGB)
* Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (FI/CO)
* Business fluent in German and English
* Strong communication skills, assertiveness and decision-making ability
