About this role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Platform Engineer to join our Core Platform Services team, which builds and maintains the foundational infrastructure that powers our applications. You’ll get hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Vault, cloud services, and automation tools, while learning from senior engineers who are passionate about building reliable, scalable systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a strong platform or DevOps engineer.
These are some of the key components to the position:
* Support the team in managing and maintaining our Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
* Work with Docker to containerize and manage applications.
* Assist in managing HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and security.
* Help automate workflows, deployments, and monitoring using CI/CD and scripting.
* Participate in troubleshooting and resolving platform-related issues.
* Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and process improvements.
* Learn and grow by collaborating with experienced platform engineers.
What will you bring to the team?
* Basic understanding of Linux systems.
* Exposure to containers (Docker) and awareness of orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code.
* Awareness of secrets management concepts (Vault or similar tools is a plus).
* Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
* Good communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
