Accountant – Luxembourg Gare – Competitive Salary
We are looking for an accountant on behalf of one of our clients. The company is an investment firm specialized in real estate. With a presence in multiple countries across Europe and several decades of experience, the Luxembourg-based company maintains particularly close ties with its teams in Germany. Located in the Gare district of Luxembourg City and composed of around ten people, the company offers modern offices and a very pleasant working atmosphere. You will be joining a finance team of six individuals.
Your Responsibilities | Training - Development
As an accountant, you will be expected to:
* Handle the day-to-day accounting of various entities
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
* Prepare VAT and tax returns
* Collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments
* Support the implementation and improvement of internal processes and controls
* Communicate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities
Profile and Career Path | Training - Development
* To succeed in this position, you should have between 2 and 6 years of experience in a similar field in Luxembourg.
* You must be fluent in both English and German.
* A work-study (alternance) experience will also be considered an asset.
