Alexander Daniels Global have been retained to support a rapidly scaling technology start-up that were founded in 2020, having been spun out of the Fraunhofer Institute. A deep tech, B2B, enterprise software business, serving industrial customers, they have grown to a team of 50. Following a successful start to the year, where the business has grown annual recurring revenues, wining multiple new enterprise clients, they are seeking an effective Head of Marketing to support the next phase of their growth.
Recent product rationalisation and adaption in the sales process mean the company are now well positioned to scale, and require a Head of Marketing to accelerate this. Working directly for the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Marketing should be an experienced marketing professional, with a strong orientation towards digital marketing and the ability to build a demand generation solution to support top of funnel activities.
The Head of Marketing will be a self-starter, able to operate independently, bring creative ideas to the table and drive execution.
They should have experience working in a B2B, Complex Enterprise Software environment. They will be able to develop strategic marketing plans, manage budgets, lead teams and have experience with event management. While this is a strategic, senior role, the Head of Marketing will need to be hands on, working with limited resources and a small team initially.
The Head of Marketing will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the wider sales organisation, developing Account Based Marketing initiatives, as well as supporting broader sales requirements.
They should be creative, driven and an exceptional communicator. They will be able to develop and drive through new ideas, building trust and confidence amongst the leadership team and wider company.
This is a fast paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment, and therefore the selected candidate will need to be adaptable.

Based in the Frankfurt region, this client offers a hybrid working model. Initially you will need to spend two to three days a week in the office, but longer-term more flexibility could be offered.
