We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join our People & Culture team. You’ll work hands-on across core People operations, with a focus on building smooth, scalable processes and a consistent, high-quality employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who’s systems-minded, proactive, and genuinely motivated by helping teams run better - not just on paper, but in practice. What you’ll be doing Own operational People & Culture processes : Manage contracts, equipment, certificates, and documentation across the employee lifecycle. Drive systems and automation: Take ownership of our tools (especially Personio), identify inefficiencies, and implement workflow improvements independently - from setup to documentation. Structure onboarding and offboarding: Coordinate smooth transitions with clear, consistent processes and communication across teams that support both employees and managers. Support payroll and compliance : Prepare monthly payroll and collaborate with our Finance team as well as external providers for benefits or mobility services. Build internal clarity : Make information easy to find and understand - whether it’s through documentation, templates, or tools. Contribute to key people topics : Get involved in projects around performance management, feedback, and talent development. What you need to shine 1–2 years of experience in People Operations, ideally in a fast-paced start-up environment. Fluent in both German and English. A strong sense of ownership and professionalism - you take responsibility, follow through, and aim for quality in everything you do. Comfortable working with tools and systems (Personio or similar); you enjoy solving problems and making things run smoother. Clear communicator, structured thinker - especially when it comes to processes, documentation, and internal alignment.
