As the Head of Finance, Germany, you will be the lead finance voice in the region, representing finance at the highest levels. You will be required to work with and influence C-suite and senior stakeholders, both locally and across EMEA. The position will report directly into the EMEA Head of Finance, with a clear trajectory to progress into a similar leadership role, within the next 5 years. The position offers a fantastic platform for the right candidate to take on a varied role, leading a team of experienced accountants, ensuring high performance and continued development.

Ideal candidate:
* A commercially astute, hands-on finance leader, with board-level exposure and the gravitas to operate in a dynamic, high-visibility role
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive change and influence at all levels
* Extensive experience within the financial service sectors
* Qualified Chartered Accountant
* Excellent knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP
* German tax law experience is considered a benefit
* German and English fluency
* EU rights to work
Responsibilities:
* Being the main point of contact for C-suite and senior level stakeholders
* Managing a team of dynamic, driven, and experienced finance professionals
* Utilise strong IFRS/German GAAP knowledge when overseeing month-end duties
* Provide support and guidance to outsourced team members
* Ensuring financial statements are completely accurately and efficiently
* Coordinate with external auditors
* Consistently provide team members with advice and guidance, to ensure high quality results
