Commercial Director Opportunity

Are you a strategic leader looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director to join our team.

The role of the Commercial Director is to drive business growth and expansion through effective leadership, strategic planning, and execution. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that meet or exceed business objectives.

You will lead a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives, providing guidance and support to ensure successful customer relationships and revenue growth. Your expertise in negotiation, market share growth, and people development will be essential in achieving our goals.

As a Commercial Director, you will embody our company values of putting people first, caring fiercely, earning trust, and demonstrating courage. You will possess a strong track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience at senior leadership level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute differentiated commercial strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader business goals
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives
* Own the sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets, and revenue targets per customer
* Lead annual negotiations with local and regional customers, including buying groups
* Build strong, trust-based partnerships with top retailer partners
* Contribute to wider business success as a key member of the leadership team, undertaking wider leadership projects and deputising for the Senior Sales Director as required


Requirements:

* An outstanding track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience at senior leadership level
* Strong track record in negotiations, listing wins, trade spend management, and market share growth
* Demonstrated success in both strategic planning and perfect execution
* Proven experiences with people development
* International experiences will be an advantage
