Our work is hands-on, client-focused, and often highly complex — which is why we are looking for a Project Coordinator who can bring structure, reliability, and operational excellence to our projects. Your Responsibilities As a Project Coordinator, you will be at the center of our client projects. This is not a purely administrative coordination role — you will actively support the end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects in parallel, typically managing between two large-scale and several mid-sized projects simultaneously. You will structure workflows, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with high quality. Your contribution includes five key dimensions 1. Ensure Delivery Excellence Support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects with varying levels of complexity, bringing structure to ambitious and sometimes unclear requirements. 2. Orchestrate Stakeholders Create alignment and transparency between internal teams, external partners, and clients. 3. Secure Operational Execution Ensure processes run smoothly, risks are identified early, and all required elements are available at the right time. 4. Maintain Transparency on Progress and Resources Track project progress, resource allocation, capacities, and key performance indicators. 5. Drive Continuous Improvement Contribute to the further development of processes and continuously improve the way we work. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who takes ownership, creates clarity, and enjoys delivering projects in a structured and successful way. Experience & Expertise Several years of experience in project coordination, project management, or operational roles Strong understanding of organizational processes and project management principles Ability to organize and manage complex structures and workflows Experience with process optimization approaches (e.g. Lean methodologies) is a plus Strong data and KPI understanding (dashboards, performance tracking) High digital affinity (e.g. MS Teams, Miro/Mural, project management tools such as Zoho) Basic understanding of budgets, costs, and business economics Experience working with diverse stakeholders Native-level English is required; German would be a strong plus Skills & Capabilities Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills Ability to prioritize effectively and maintain oversight Structured way of working with strong documentation skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Confidence in meetings and stakeholder discussions Ability to remain calm and clear under pressure Mindset & Behavior Ownership mentality and reliability Solution-oriented and proactive approach Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills Commitment to continuous improvement Ability to balance structure with flexibility Builds trust through clarity and dependability WHAT WE OFFER Meaningful work in the field of leadership and organizational development A high-trust environment with ownership and creative freedom The opportunity to actively shape and improve the way we work Flat hierarchies and open communication Flexible working with a strong focus on results and work-life balance A central role within our delivery setup Flexible working model (remote Bamberg on-site with clients) About us atrain is a global catalyst for human development, a dynamic leadership consultancy that empowers international clients to reshape their organizations from the inside out.
