What will you do?
You will bring development and operations together to continuously produce and deliver high-quality and highly profitable software products, creating a stable environment focused on continuous improvement by shortening the systems development life cycle.
Your main responsibilities are:
* Automation of processes/tasks for improved efficiency and quality (creating and managing containers, making scripts to automate manual steps etc.)
* Establish a continuous state-of-the-art stable workflow environment for the development team, by maintenance and innovation of the TASKING Software Factory
* Collaborate closely with development teams gathering their needs
* Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
* Come up with new ideas and concepts to further improve the company’s working environment
* Simplify our systems and processes
* Creating accounts and granting access to the internal tools:
Jira, Polarion, Bitbucket, Confluence
What do you bring to the table?
Developing great technology takes more than education or talent, it takes people who understand collaboration, respect, and who have the passion and desire to disrupt the status quo and push boundaries. To be successful the following criteria may apply:
* You have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* You are familiar with scripting languages like Bash, Python and tools like cmake, bazel etc.
* You have experience with GCP, AWS or Azure
* You want to contribute to evaluation and development of DevOps initiatives, including various automation/containerization/cloud migration projects
* You strive to optimize the development process from coding, validation and verification till deployment and maintenance
* At least 3-5 years of experience in creating DevOps systems, ideally in the field of compilers or embedded systems.
* You are a hands-on person who takes the initiative and does whatever it takes to make a project successful
* Fluent English skills both verbally and written
* You are familiar with ansible and / or containers
