The Human Resources Manager for EMA will report functionally to the Global Head of Human Resources and operationally to the VP and General Manager of the region. He/she will be a strategic partner to the management team and a hands-on leader, shaping our people’s strategy as we scale. This key leadership role will directly support all SMARDT employees and functions in the region. Strategic HR Leadership Develop and execute a scalable HR strategy that supports company growth, culture, and performance goals. Advise leadership on organizational structure, headcount planning, and culture initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to Management and Supervisors on people and organizational topics. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Oversee recruitment strategy and processes to support rapid hiring needs across departments. Partner with hiring managers to define roles, improve interview processes, and ensure top talent pipelines. Own employer branding efforts to attract high-calibre candidates aligned with our mission and values. Performance & Growth Implement and optimize performance management systems to promote feedback, accountability, and growth. Launch learning & development initiatives to improve talent, including leadership development programs. Create and manage career pathing frameworks to support employee growth and retention Employee Experience & Culture Drive initiatives to sustain and evolve a high-performing, inclusive, and values-aligned culture. Lead employee engagement efforts (pulse surveys, feedback loops, offsite events, etc.). Support managers in building strong teams and resolving personnel issues with empathy and compliance. HR Operations & Compliance Build and scale HR systems and processes (HRIS, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, etc.). Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal employment laws as we grow into new markets. Own benefits and compensation strategy, benchmarking, and administration. Data & Reporting Develop and report on key HR metrics (e.g. turnover, engagement, DEI, performance trends). Use people analytics to inform decision-making and improve processes and policies. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum experience requirements : 5 years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to Talent Attraction, Development, and Retention programs. 3 years as Head of Human Resources or HR Manager, with responsibility over all HR Functions Preferred experience : Deep understanding of local labour laws and practices in the region, especially in Singapore and Malaysia HVAC, Manufacturing or any other related industry. HR experience at a growth-stage company. Education requirements : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Required Skills : Strategic thinker with hands-on execution Experience with modern HR tech tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, L&D platforms). Strong communication and leadership presence. Change Management
