Your Responsibilities
* Trade and risk management: Conducting futures market transactions, implementing hedging strategies and economically marketing our own power plants
* Market analysis and strategy development: Monitoring energy sector markets, deriving trade and procurement strategies and optimizing portfolios
* Asset management: Long-term planning and optimization of power plant and storage capacity use under economic and technical aspects
* Certificate and capacity management: Procurement and trading of origin certificates, CO₂ certificates and capacity bookings for optimal flexibility utilization
* Portfolio management: Controlling and securing energy portfolios taking into account market analyses, risk limits and corporate goals
* Interface management: Close cooperation with internal departments (controlling, sales, production) and external partners (exchanges, trading partners)
Your Profile
* Degree in energy economics, energy engineering or business administration
* Several years of experience in energy trading, portfolio management or risk management with result responsibility
* Secure handling of financial mathematical instruments, chart analysis, portfolio management systems and energy economic risk management
* Energy trader's examination (e.g. EEX) or comparable qualification
* Decision-making ability, stress resistance, reliability and sense of responsibility in a dynamic market environment
* Clear, precise communication, teamwork and the ability to act structured even under pressure
