Key Responsibilities Supporting the structuring and launch of new Aquila Capital products, in particular alternative investment funds and other investment solutions, with a focus on real assets (e.g. wind, solar, hydropower, and real estate), from a commercial, organisational, and governance perspective Taking legal responsibility for structuring and restructuring topics within existing product and holding structures, driven by regulatory changes, investor requirements, or strategic considerations Acting as a central project manager for product-related initiatives, coordinating interdisciplinary teams across legal, tax, finance, investment management, and external advisers Independently managing and overseeing product-related legal topics, primarily at a coordination and steering level, with a focus on corporate, investment, and supervisory law Supporting and coordinating negotiations with national and international institutional investors from a structuring and process perspective Reviewing and managing product-related legal documentation and contracts in close cooperation with internal legal functions and external counsel Advising internal stakeholders and senior management on product structuring, governance, and implementation topics, ensuring clear documentation and decision readiness Efficiently selecting, instructing, and managing external legal advisers, ensuring timely delivery, cost awareness, and alignment with commercial objectives Your Qualifications and Experience University degree in law with strong academic results Relevant professional experience (typically 2–7 years) gained in asset management, financial services, a law firm, or a comparable business-oriented environment Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel, prioritise competing demands, and work reliably under time pressure Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with stakeholders at all organisational levels Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work closely with business, technical colleagues, and external advisers Highly structured, well-organised, and detail-oriented working style combined with a pragmatic, solution-driven mindset Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken High level of commitment, execution strength, and the motivation to actively drive topics forward Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong interest in understanding the business and contributing as part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team
