Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, a leading multi-business bank, seeks a seasoned professional to build relationships with new clients and intermediaries from Belgium.
The successful candidate will be based in Luxembourg and work within a multidisciplinary team to develop a growth strategy in a core market.
* Develop a comprehensive business plan utilizing BIL's capabilities to create a client portfolio.
* Attend and coordinate events to nurture the portfolio.
* Conduct research to identify business opportunities with new clients.
* Establish long-term, trusting client relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
* Maintain knowledge of current market conditions to detect and/or anticipate potential business opportunities.
* Collaborate across business lines to develop new business leads and ensure excellent after-sales service.
* Utilize the internal CRM to track business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain a network of private customers and financial intermediaries in Belgium.
* Develop a thorough understanding of products and services required by Belgian private customers and financial intermediaries.
* Employ proven negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
* Exhibit high level of integrity and ethics.
* Hold a relevant University background in Finance.
* Possess CFA / CAIA / CISI or other related financial certifications as an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
* Fluency in Dutch and English, French seen as an advantage.
* Strong client-orientation and results-driven approach.
* Rigorous, organized, and methodical customer approach actions.
* Team-oriented and willing to travel.
