This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead The work model for the role is: hybrid/ LI-Hybrid Key responsibilities The Release Owner for PCP Hardware Development plays a leading role in driving new product introductions within the PCP portfolio. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of both new and recently developed hardware products while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines. You will be mainly accountable for: Leadership & Project Ownership: Take primary responsibility for leading international teams and managing end-to-end release processes for hardware products within the PCP portfolio. Cross-Functional Coordination: Align and coordinate activities across diverse functional areas to ensure timely execution of release milestones and deliverables. Project Management Excellence: Drive core project management functions including budgeting, risk assessment, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate release progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders at all organizational levels, ensuring transparency and alignment. Qualifications for the role Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field is beneficial. Team Leadership: Experience in guiding cross-functional teams and contributing to product development and release processes. Project Management: Familiarity with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and working within regulatory frameworks. Technical Background: A solid understanding of hardware development and engineering principles. Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholder levels. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and fluent in German is required.
