Description
Your Role – What You Can Expect:
Planning and execution of environmental tests for electrical/electronic (and mechanical) components:
1. Performing vibration and shock tests
2. Performing temperature and climate tests
3. Performing electrical tests
4. Performing thermography measurements on electronic components
5. Developing test specifications by applying and tailoring international and military standards
6. Design of test adapters for vibration tests or support of the design team
7. Preparation of test instructions and test reports
8. Developing internal test standards
9. Diagnosis of electrical and electronic components
10. Conducting weak-point analysis and preparation of solutions
11. Maintenance and repair of the testing systems
Qualifications and Skills:
12. Degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
13. Several years of professional experience in development or design
14. Knowledge of environmental simulation and vibration theory
15. Knowledge of CAD (design) tools, e.g. CREO
16. Knowledge of standards
17. Workmanship
18. Written and spoken English skills
19. Teamwork and communication skills
20. Independent and self-dependent work
