Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced MES Solution Architect with strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter to lead the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within a discrete manufacturing environment.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical leadership, architecture design skills, and hands-on MES implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end MES solution architecture, design, and implementation
* Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Design, modify, and validate technical architecture for Opcenter (FN + DS 2401+)
* Drive integration between MES, SAP ECC, and shop floor systems
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
* Perform system testing, validation, and client demonstrations
* Ensure performance optimization, database tuning, and system scalability
* Communicate technical decisions and assess business impact of architectural choices
* Identify and resolve issues in current implementations and propose improvements
Must-Have
* 12–15 years of experience in MES and manufacturing systems
* Strong hands-on experience with:
* Siemens Opcenter (Execution Core / FN + DS 2401+)
* MES implementation in discrete manufacturing environments
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
* Experience with MES–SAP ECC integration
* Strong understanding of:
* Solution design & architecture
* Requirement analysis & client interaction
* Ability to lead workshops and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Technical Skills
* Solid understanding of system architecture design and testing
* Experience with shop floor integration and peripheral systems
* Knowledge of SQL and database optimization/tuning
* Basic hands-on experience with SAP systems
Good-to-Have
* Prior project management experience
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
