Your tasks
9. Support for site-specific TAAs (Technical Assistance Agreements) and MLAs (Manufacturing License Agreements)
10. Implementation of the legal regulations of the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
11. You are responsible for managing export licenses, applying for timely extensions, and monitoring the use of granted licenses.
12. Analysis, evaluation and development of processes to ensure compliance with ITAR requirements in close coordination with interface partners - Ensuring compliance with TAAs and MLAs - Consulting and training of employees
13. Representation of the project to BIS (Bureau of Industry and Security), DDTC (Directorate of Defense Trade Controls) and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control)
14. They apply for permits under the AWG and submit preliminary inquiries to the relevant authorities (e.g. BAFA, BMWK, etc.).
15. Strategic development of the organization for changes to the USML (US Munitions List)
16. They are responsible for controlling and approving the company's export processes.
17. They assess goods, software and technologies with regard to their inclusion in the legally prescribed goods lists (Foreign Trade Act, War Weapons Control Act, EU Dual-Use Regulation) and the ITAR.
18. They are the contact person (diverse/m/f) for the specialist departments regarding export control / ITAR issues and advise specialist departments and projects.
Your profile
19. Completed studies in the field of economics/logistics/industrial engineering or a commercial/technical apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in foreign trade (export control)
20. Training in export control and ITAR; professional experience; very good knowledge of USML and ITAR
21. Experience in an export-oriented company with involvement in shipping processes
22. Proficient in using MS Office applications and SAP (S/4HANA)
23. A strong sense of justice, an interest in the implementation of legal requirements, and a willingness to learn and further develop knowledge in the areas of foreign trade law.
24. Strong communication skills, team orientation and assertiveness
25. Technical understanding, organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility and a structured approach
26. Good English skills, both spoken and written.
