Digital sales is a rapidly growing business model for PAYBACK. We work in a cross-functional team which includes Business, Product and Tech-owner. You are end-2-end responsible for your product. You are shaping the future of our digital business. You also drive the technical architecture and align your strategy with the other Crews (Product Teams).
As a Fullstack Engineer, you will work within cross-functional crews following a “you build it, you run it” principle, contributing not only with code but also with operational excellence, system design, and team enablement.
YOUR TASKS
1. Take ownership across the full lifecycle: development, deployment, and operations
2. Work with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure
3. Ensure reliability, performance, and observability of systems
4. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers
5. Share knowledge, mentor others, and actively contribute to team success
YOUR PROFILE
6. You have several years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in a similar role
7. You have strong technical skills in Java and Spring Framework
8. You have a solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and system design
9. You have practical experience with cloud technologies (e. g. GCP), infrastructure as code (e. g. Terraform), and modern deployment and operating models
10. You are comfortable with responsibility, ambiguity, and continuous improvement
11. Fluency in spoken and written English rounds off your profile
