Purpose
This role is responsible for driving direct-to-consumer growth and profitability by defining, implementing and owning world class processes & solutions and drive harmonization, standardization and innovation across the markets.
Key Accountabilities
* Drive the POS program implementation with market & IT counterparts. Responsible to support the implementation and transformation of market processes to capitalize and achieve the desired business results. Innovate to ensure future proofness
* This Role is of extremely high importance as it is highly cross-functional and managing a significant change across the adidas group organization
* Liase with markets to share best practices, offer consultation, and prepare for project implementations
* Provide governance of and enhance the respective elements of the POS solution. Own global process and ensure harmonization and standardization across markets
* Drive change management within the organisation including documentation of knowledge/processes and creation of training materials
* Ensure all project expectation are delivered on including timelines and budgets for assigned projects
* Be able to work in cross-functional teams, support decision taking and be pragmatic about managing different expectations. (
* Support and continuously improve on-going Retail and Franchise operations by analysing process irregularities & proposing process improvements
* For all projects, identify potential systems impacts and liaise with GIT to ensure system changes fit store needs. Set up project plans (including timelines, roles, roles & responsibilities) to manage the involvement of other adidas teams including GIT, Store Ops, Store Development and Merchandising
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
* Advanced MS Office skills (Visio, Powerpoint, Excel etc.)
* Retail proficiency incl. Process and systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to move seamlessly between IT and business domains are essential
* Ability to clearly and effectively communicate as well as an ability to engage and influence others within an organization
* Good understanding of IT process and IT implementation methods is a plus
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Additional Language is an advantage
Qualifications
1. University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
2. Exposure: Retail Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Change Management
3. 6 - 8 years relevant work experience
