The Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research offers a structured PhD training programme within a cutting-edge research environment. Our programme is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of ageing research, its challenges and opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this programme, you should have:
* Master's or Equivalent Degree: In biology, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biophysics, genetics, medical biology, translational medicine, or a related field.
* Excellent Academic Performance: Demonstrate strong motivation for ageing research and excellent academic performance in your BSc and MSc studies.
* Good English Skills: Possess very good English skills (C1 level, written and spoken).

* Initial Work Contracts: Of at least three years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and qualifications.
* Remuneration: Based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
* PhD Support Contract: Equivalently remunerated through an equivalently remunerated PhD support contract of the Max Planck Society.
