Join our strategic hydrogen infrastructure project in North-West Germany, part of a major national initiative to accelerate the transition to low-carbon industrial energy. We are currently seeking a Project HSE Inspector for an immediate start near Düsseldorf to strengthen our HSE team and support the Project HSE Manager in ensuring full compliance with HSE standards across our site operations.
The role requires daily presence on site.
Responsibilities
* Perform on‑site HSE inspections, identifying hazards and unsafe conditions.
* Ensure proper use, limitations and maintenance of all required PPE.
* Verify compliance with HSE procedures: Work at Height, Confined Spaces, Lifting, Lockout‑Tagout, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting and Hazard Identification.
* Provide follow‑up on corrective actions and support continuous improvement activities.
* Communicate effectively with teams and contractors to promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience as HSE/Safety Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
* Internationally recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, BSC, or equivalent).
* Engineering background preferred.
* Strong command of English (C2 or equivalent).
* German language proficiency B1 or higher.
* Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Immediate availability.
