This role requires a solution-focused Trade Marketing Coordinator to implement trade marketing strategies across all segments (Professional, Consumer, Pet/Animal) in the region of Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary or in South Eastern Europe. This role will be pivotal in supporting brand visibility, sales growth, and strong retailer partnerships within the market. To succeed in this role, collaboration with the sales team, key B2B partners, and the wider marketing function to ensure impactful, regionally tailored trade marketing initiatives that align with the overall brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Trade Marketing Strategy: Work with the Senior Trade Marketing Manager to execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies that align with the overall brand objectives. Tailor initiatives to local market needs and retailer requirements while ensuring consistency with global brand guidelines.
* Retailer Engagement & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, key B2B customers, including e-commerce platforms, wholesalers, and large retail chains. Collaborate with these partners to co-create impactful in-store and online campaigns, promotions, and activations that drive sales and brand visibility.
* In-Store & Online Activations: Implement high-impact in-store displays, point-of-sale materials, and digital assets that capture consumer attention and drive conversion at the retail level. Work closely with retail partners to ensure successful execution of trade promotions and product launches.
* Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by keeping trade marketing tools, presentations, and product training materials up to date that help position the brand effectively in-store and online. Ensure that the sales force has all necessary resources to maximize brand performance at the point of sale.
* Promotions & Campaigns: Execute trade-focused promotions, sampling programs, and retailer incentives to drive consumer engagement and increase sales volumes across the region.
* Event Management: Organise exhibitions, trade events/fairs and education events.
* Translations: Responsible for ensuring translations of marketing material is correct.
* Performance Metrics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing programs.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the EMEA trade marketing team, brand management, sales, digital, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of trade marketing initiatives. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the timely delivery of promotional materials and product displays. Support regular business updates with key stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the consumer goods or personal care sector. Experience with a hair clipper, grooming, or beauty brand is a significant plus.
* Retail & Channel Expertise: Good understanding of the retail landscape, including brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and omni-channel strategies is a plus. Ability to build and manage relationships with business partners at various levels.
* Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Creativity & Innovation: A creative and innovative thinker, capable of developing trade marketing materials that stand out in a competitive retail environment.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Languages: Excellent written and verbal English skills. Professional working proficiency in Polish, Czech, Hungarian or Turkish is a plus.
* Travel required Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time within the market area and the EU.
* Education Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
