Hauptaufgaben
As the senior and technical consultant, is responsible for the more complex ammunition related documents, such as SF364, Report of Discrepancy and DA Form 444, Inventory Adjustment Report, and issues as they relate to his/her specific ammunition commodity. Responsible for processing and expediting off line requisitions. Researches computer listings, historical files, and other available sources to monitor transactions and related activities and identifies potential and actual problems. Reviews and processes single and multiple entry coding sheets as well as other automated, typed, and handwritten source documents such as DA Form 1348-1, Receipt Document, DD form 3151-R, Ammo Storage Slip and other ammunition related documents, stock records, and special administrative and management activities and functions. Applies a thorough knowledge of ammunition-related practices, procedures, and computer operations. Independently manages and directs the operations of his/her assigned area of responsibility as an integral part of Stock Control, RSA Miesau.
- Coordinates and controls the shipment planning process to include planning and selection of appropirate lots of ammunition to fill authorized projects and outgoing shipment requirements (Retrograde, Training, UBL, FMS, Demil etc.) IAW control and issue priorities, under consideration of smallest lots, Cond Codes, oldest manufacture date, last surveillance inspection date, etc. Produces Radio Frequency Tags (SAVI) for all shipments. Closely controls and maintains the MRO control. Prioritize postings to the accountable records and ensures that the account codes (owner codes) are compatible with the items indicated at all times and that the integrity of owner assets posted correctly. Ensures sufficient stocks are available to fill authorized and special projects (TFE, BCT, SFG, TFF, SETAF, etc.). Closely coordinates with the Stock Control Supv to requisition stocks needed thru appropriate channels. Verifies receipt 1348-1 and pre-post stocks based off of preselected bunkers listings, prepared by storage planning to record. Ensures before post posting of pre receipt that 3151 is properly signed by checkers. Compares count quantity against on hand balances. Maintains and controls the 191st Ord Bn & RSAM accountable documentation voucher file/register and the IAR (Inventory Adjustment Report) and ROD (Report of Discrepancy) control logs. Updates the automated stock location system (SAASMOD ? Resources ? Computer stored ammunition location records for Class V). Ensures cataloging data changes/updates and made in accordance with regulation and FED LOG. Reconciles SAAS-MOD accountable records with MMC/200th TSC, researching and clarifying discrepancies.
As the subject matter expert, reviews source documentation for propriety of entries as relating to type and norm of transaction, soundness of correlating coding information, and overall compliance with entry and data verification requirements and procedures established for the standard Army ammunition programs. Clarifies inconsistencies with responsible subject matter specialists, supplements or corrects entries as required, codes entries in accordance with data system requirements, and prepares source documents for automated data system processing. Numerous and different types of transactions are handled which range from ammunition maintenance and supply, vouchers and other accounting and program pertinent management and control documents. Transactions handled require the association of the different source documents with individual programs, the identification and correction of errors in the documentation received, the initiation of follow-ups for possible discrepancies, catalog data changes, and the cancellation or revision of documents. Primarily operates a keyboard controlled, visual data entry station to transcribe, verify, and enter data into the automated data processing system. Is responsible for the selection of applicable computer applications and associated data item coding and the subsequent entry of the data items from pre- or un-coded source documents into the data system in application of proper transcribing procedures. Verifies the correctness of data entries, identifies errors and error source and effects corrections. Identifies possible software errors and reports them to the supervisor.
Operates a Standard Army Ammunition System ? MOD (SAAS-MOD), SDS(Standard Depot System)work station and other automated ammunition support systems. Signs on to the SAAS as directed by log prompts on screen, which includes entering user ID and password. Uses keyboard or Personal Data Collection Device (PDCD) to enter transactions, such as receipt processing, shipment processing, etc. Uses various menus and screens to enter, retrieve and/or manipulated ammunition information from display or direct input selection; inquiry input information screens for instructions or explanations; or uses interactive screens for data input. Reviews input and output to verify correctness, applying a through knowledge of data to be processed and familiarity with input and output procedures.
Oversees the work of three or more employees in performance of such functions as Data Transcriber. Provides on-the-job training, assigns and reviews work, ensures accomplishment of assigned tasks. Performs other duties which do not comprise the full range of supervisory or lead functions. During the phase of record processing, the employee is occasionally required to participate in an on-site inventory (Special Inventory) of ammunition, to include verification of condition codes, proper location of material and similar pertinent information.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen
Es handelt sich um eine befristete Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std. /Woche) bis zur Rückkehr des permanenten Stelleninhabers, jedoch nicht länger als 1 Jahr ab Einstellung. / This is a temporary full-time position (38.5 hrs /week) until return of permanent incumbent, not to exceed 1 year upon appointment.
