Director Product Analytics | DAX 40 | Data, AI & Customer Products | Cologne/Bonn OR Berlin (Hybrid)
AI Futures Ltd has been exclusively retained to appoint a Director Product Analytics for a leading DAX 40 organisation.
This is a senior leadership role within an agile, fast-moving and complex environment, responsible for defining how Data, AI, and Analytics drive measurable business outcomes across customer products. The mandate is clear: set the vision, translate insight into commercial impact, and lead scalable AI integration across the business.
This role requires a strong, top-down leader who can define direction, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in complex organisational structures. This is not just about executing analytics, but shaping how analytics drives the business.
Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Cologne/Bonn or Berlin
Remuneration: Up to €250k total package
The Role
* Lead and scale a Product Analytics function, owning end-to-end capability
* Define and drive a clear Product Analytics strategy aligned to growth, retention, monetisation, and customer value
* Translate complex data into clear, structured insights that influence product and commercial decisions
* Embed analytics within cross-functional product teams (Product, Engineering, Design)
* Drive hypothesis-led, outcome-driven experimentation (A/B and multivariate testing)
* Lead the integration of AI & Machine Learning into live products and decision-making, moving beyond proof-of-concept
* Champion strong data governance, modern cloud analytics, and full GDPR compliance
The Candidate
* 8+ years’ experience in Product Analytics, Digital Product Data, or Analytics Leadership in complex organisations
* Proven ability to operate as a top-down leader, defining vision, structuring problems, and influencing senior stakeholders
* Strong track record of linking analytics to measurable business outcomes (revenue, retention, CLV, cost optimisation)
* Deep experience in true Product Analytics environments with strong business understanding
* Strong technical foundation in Data, AI, or Advanced Analytics, with experience deploying AI/ML into production
* Language: English (German a Bonus)
