Join us as a Senior Public Affairs Manager (all genders) in our Communication team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility! We are a small team that is responsible for public affairs, PR, internal communications, and social media. We are currently looking for support in the area of public affairs. In the interdisciplinary Communications and Public Affairs department, everyone works together on the success of our autonomous mobility solution. What you will do Develop MOIA’s public-affairs strategy for the national and European levels, and define and roll out the key actions. Representation of MOIA interests in committee work with local, national, international associations, supervisory authorities, and political institutions. Developing MOIA’s positions on regulatory topics, particularly in the field of autonomous driving, and translating them into practical implementation. Handle requests from cities and municipalities. Attending meetings with representatives at the local, national, and EU levels. Preparing executives for meetings at the highest political level. Prepare complex tech topics — autonomous driving, fleet integration, and MaaS platforms — in a clear and easy-to-grasp way for briefings and meetings at the board level. What will help you to fulfill your role Several years of experience, ideally as a public affairs consultant or in a corporate public affairs department. Knowledge of German and English at a negotiable level (C1/C2). Professional experience in politics, association work, or the mobility industry. Excellent knowledge of the legislative processes in Germany and the EU. Knowledge of the international legislative framework is a plus. Ideally, prior knowledge in the area of new mobility with a focus on data, digital business models, and Autonomous Driving. Excellent PowerPoint skills and actually enjoying building decks are essential. Hands-on mentality, joy of networking, and Social Media affinity. Openness to travel and participate in evening events. Ideally existing political network on the European level and/or German state and federal politics. Degree, ideally in political science or law.
