As Head of HR DACH, you will partner with local business leaders to shape and implement the local HR strategy, driving optimal performance, engagement, and well-being of all Rituals employees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will lead (directly and indirectly) the local HR team and ensure HR policies, systems, and programs are aligned with business needs while fostering a culture of trust, pride, and growth. This is a dynamic key position within a high-speed retail environment. You are HR end-responsible for up to 4.000 employees. Business Impact: Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, influencing organizational decisions related to HR strategy, policies, and transformation. Drive the development of a winning culture by implementing leadership development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and change management strategies. Act as a trusted partner for (store) managers, enabling them to cultivate an inclusive and motivating work environment. Leadership & Interaction: Reports functionally to the Director International HR and operationally to the Managing Director. Member of the local Management Team and global HR team. Directly and indirectly leads and develops the local HR team, ensuring a high level of expertise, collaboration, and effectiveness. Partners with the Managing Director and local leadership team to align HR strategies with business objectives. Manages relationships with (external) HR partners and stakeholders. Leads and participates in cross-functional project teams on key business and HR initiatives. Strategic Influence & Creativity: Shape and drive the local HR agenda by co-developing innovative policies, structures, and programs that foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. Act as a thought leader, inspiring and influencing leadership behaviors and ways of working. From global to local: Ensure global employer branding and talent attraction strategies are adapted in your markets, to position Rituals as the employer of choice. At least 6 years of HR leadership experience in a retail, hospitality or similar fast-paced environment and in a Germany, ideally DACH responsibility Proven experience in HR transformation and HR advisory/business partnering Strong communication, presentation and change management skills. Fluent in German (native language level) and English Based or willing to permanently relocate to Köln with flexibility to travel across the DACH region and occasionally to meet your peers of other country groups across Europe or to connect with central HR functions in our international head offices in Amsterdam (NL) Our company culture thrives when people connect.
