Walker Cole International is supporting a global Consumer Health organisation experiencing significant growth across its brand portfolio. We are seeking an accomplished Category Director / Brand Lead to define category strategy, elevate brand performance, and drive commercial momentum across multiple European markets. This is a high‑visibility leadership position with the autonomy to influence how the category grows, innovates, and competes.
Role Overview
* Create and drive the long‑term category vision, ensuring clear direction for portfolio growth, brand positioning, and commercial execution.
* Build consumer‑centric marketing plans that integrate digital, eCommerce, pharmacy retail, and healthcare‑professional channels.
* Lead cross‑functional collaboration with key internal partners across Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
* Own and manage P&L responsibilities, using data and market insights to optimise pricing, performance, and channel strategy.
* Shape the innovation pipeline and champion new product development based on consumer trends and competitive dynamics.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to brand teams, reinforcing a culture of agility, accountability, and creativity.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with:
* 5+ years of experience in Consumer Health, OTC, or FMCG brand management.
* A track record of delivering strong category performance and brand growth.
* Confidence leading digital marketing, eCommerce activation, and 360° brand communication.
* Experience working within regulated categories such as OTC medicines, medical devices, food supplements, or cosmetics.
* Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* A balance of strategic vision and hands‑on leadership.
* English fluency is required; German language skills are an advantage but not essential.
