PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
This role is responsible for maximising the sales, profitability, and brand equity of the European Concept & Franchise Stores by providing the teams with the right business systems, process, and pricing support.
Responsibilities include managing strategic projects, managing the systems, processes, and seasonal pricing changes in line with the Europe strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with Senior Manager Business Systems & Process in shaping the Europe Merchandising strategy for Concept Stores & Franchise in line with Europe objectives.
2. Implement the business systems into the merchandising teams seamlessly and train all merchandisers on the new tools.
3. Manage the pricing of articles and key promotional events such as MSS and EOSS.
4. Manage the partner group setup for store promotional activations.
5. Co-ordinate and drive operations between SCM and buying teams.
6. Build the system process map for Europe merchandising and re-define the processes to drive work efficiency
7. Be the key interface to manage all IT enhancements and liaise with the Business Solutions team in Global to drive the implementation.
8. Drive implementation of key strategic projects that impact planning, ranging, forecasting and pricing across DTC (e.g. TRADE Project)
9. Improve the Financial Plan (MFP) processes for upcoming seasons, including delivering a financial plan at store level and at category/class level, and handle all exceptions in the process.
10. Define new reporting processes with other category directors to drive new thinking.
11. Actively participate in all new system testing roll outs on behalf of the buyers.
12. Ensure all cross-category coordination of store related action plans and monitor development.
13. Drive master data accuracy and maintenance across all systems

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
27. University degree, ideally in business with marketing and sales focus, or equivalent professional experience / MBA a plus
28. 5+ years of progressive experience working in Merchandising & Supply Chain in Retail Industry vertical preferable in sporting goods
29. Expertise in Merchandise, Planning and Allocation systems, knowledge of SAP Retail/AFS, IT Strategy & Project Management
30. Retail knowledge/retail background/understanding of retail operations required
31. Experience with tools like MS Access, Power BI, SQL would be a plus
32. Experienced in working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to establish efficient and scalable processes.
